With 13 miles of shoreline, Lake Seed offers a wide range of leisure options. Swimming, boating, fishing, and basic camping are available at Seed Campground on this 240-acre lake.

The most popular fish species in the lake are walleye and trout. Other fish in the area include spotted bass, yellow perch, and white catfish.

Summer stratification does not occur in Seed Lake because it is a river-run lake with fast water movement, meaning the temperature remains consistent from shallow to deep.

Make a day trip out of your visit to Atlanta, with the city slightly under two hours away using I-85 North and U.S. 23 North. Atlanta is home to numerous museums, including the High Museum of Art, the Fernbank Museum and 3D Theater, the Atlanta History Center, the Children's Museum of Atlanta, and others.

It takes only a short drive to reach the Georgia Aquarium. This aquarium, which is renowned for its interactive exhibits, contains around 120,000 creatures. Directly across the street from the Aquarium is the World of Coca-Cola.
